However, TTU/TTUHSC students may decide to make certain personal directory information items releasable for various reasons including sending award and degree information to your hometown newspaper. Directory information is information in a student’s educational record that would not generally be considered harmful or an invasion of privacy if disclosed.

The following information is designated by TTU/TTUHSC as Directory Information:

• Student Name
• Major Field of Study
• Classification
• Degrees, awards and honors received
• Specific Enrollment Status
  o Full-time, Part-time, Half-time
  o Undergraduate, Graduate, Law
• Local & Permanent Addresses
• Place of birth
• Participation in officially recognized activities and sports
• Dates of attendance
• Previous Institution Attended
• Height/Weight (If a member of an athletic team)
